This web site provides the latest information on Cisco's Application Infrastructure Providers (AIP/ASP) Enablement Strategy and Solutions.

The Cisco XSP Strategy is Cisco's AIP/ASP Strategy. It provides Service Providers, Independent Software Vendors, and Application Service Providers with the ability to access business and technology architectures, partner solutions, demand generation and certification programmes that enable the delivery of "software as a service".

AIP companies will focus on selling the network, and will provide data centre and application hosting delivery as well as the management of ASP services. ASPs and ISVs will focus on selling and marketing "software as a service" for a subscription or usage fee and guarantee their service through a service contract to end customers.
