When and where is the event taking place?
The Cisco Partner Summit is April 4-7, 2005, at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

When will I receive confirmation of my registration?
An e-mail confirmation will be sent to you as soon as your attendance has been approved. If requested, your hotel reservation will be confirmed approximately 4 weeks prior to the conference date.

What if I need to cancel my conference registration and/or hotel reservation?

You must notify the Partner Summit Registration Team no later than 72 hours prior to arrival. If the notice is less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival, a hotel cancellation charge may apply.

Are substitutions allowed?
The Cisco Partner Summit 2005 is an "invitation only" event. Each new registrant must go through the completed registration process for approval. Substitutions will only be allowed after approval by the Cisco Channel Team. This approval will happen after registration occurs and you will be notified by e-mail by the Partner Summit Registration Team.

May I register on behalf of another person?
Yes, you may register another person if they have been invited to attend the event. Ensure that each eligible person is registered separately via the web registration system.

Do I need to wear my badge during the entire Partner Summit event?
Please wear your conference badge to all group functions and meetings so that you can be readily identified as an attendee of the Cisco Partner Summit 2005.

Please be assured that every precaution possible is being taken to ensure a safe and secure working environment at the Cisco Partner Summit. As such, please be aware that we will be asking for photo identification at registration before releasing a conference badge. Badges will need to be worn during the entire event.

Can I bring a guest? What functions are guests allowed to attend?
Spouses or guests may only attend the Global Banquet and Global Party and are required to wear their badges to these functions. The dress code for the Global Banquet is jacket for men, and cocktail attire for women. For the Global Party, casual attire is recommended. All meals, break refreshments, sessions, the Technology & Solutions Forum, and executive networking activities are limited to conference attendees only. Children or guests under the age of 21 will not be admitted.

What sessions are available during the event?
On the morning of Tuesday, April 5, and in the afternoon of Wednesday, April 6, there will be Global General Sessions for the general audience. On Wednesday morning, there are Theatre Sessions, which are dedicated to specific geographic regions. Technology and Program Breakout Sessions are scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, April 5. More information on sessions will be provided on the registration form.

What should I wear to the Cisco Partner Summit 2005?
Business casual attire is appropriate for meetings and the Technology & Solutions Forum. The dress code for the Global Banquet is jacket for men, and cocktail attire for women. For the Global Party, casual attire is recommended.

Can I get copies of the material presented at the conference?
The presentations will be posted approximately one week after the Partner Summit to the website where you originally registered: http://www.cisco.com/go/partnersummit

What language is spoken?
The official language of the conference is English and all general sessions will be presented in English. Translation services will be provided in Japanese and Mandarin for all general sessions and designated breakout sessions.

At the Partner Summit Internet Stations, you are able to access an on-line program guide with detailed information regarding the Partner Summit. You can also check your e-mail accessible over a web browser; read up-to-the-minute news from Cisco Press, and complete the on-line conference evaluation form, where you will receive a special gift if completed.
