Release Replacement
Cisco IOS® Software release 11.3(3)T and 11.3(3a)T images for the Cisco 2600 series are being replaced with release 11.3(3a)T1 with the following features and fixes:
Fixes in 11.3(3a)T
-
The Cisco Voice-Over-IP MIB added call progress tones for several countries (CSCdj85241 (registered customers only) ). This MIB update is required for Cisco 2600 and 3600 series Voice-Over-IP routers to be managed by Cisco Voice Manager.
-
Encryption images are now released for the Cisco 2600 series.
Fixes in 11.3(3a)T1
-
The Cisco 2600 Series may not boot when there is 20MB of DRAM in the system (CSCdk09450 (registered customers only) ).
-
The WIC-1B-U may not be recognized in the Cisco 2600 series. During power-on of the Cisco 2600 Series, the WIC-1B-U EEPROM may get reprogrammed. This results in the system not being able to recognize the WIC-1B-U. Cisco IOS version 11.3(3a)T1 has a fix (CSCdk08441 (registered customers only) ) that will prevent this problem. However once a WIC-1B-U has been reprogrammed, it must be replaced.
