A limited number of HP DL380-G6 servers shipped by HP prior to November 16, 2009 and configured with a system board revision earlier than revision "0S," may unexpectedly reboot. A user will see "Server Reset, Server Power Removed, Server Power Restored" message in the Integrated Lights-Out 2 (iLO2) Event Log. A user can determine if they have an affected server by looking at the serial number. It will be xxx947xxxx or earlier.
Note: No Cisco Hardware branded products are affected; only products purchased directly from HP are affected.
A limited number of the ProLiant DL380 G6-based servers that are configured with a system board having a revision level earlier than "0S," shipped prior to November, 16 2009, and that have a serial number earlier than xxx 947xxxx may reboot unexpectedly.
Note: This ONLY affects customers that have purchsed this equipment direct from HP. This does not affect any Cisco purchased equipment.
