Problem Description
AIR-ANT4941 is a 2.2 dipole antenna for use in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, sold for use with Access Points and Bridges. AIR-ANT5135D-R is also a dipole antenna, with a gain of 3.5 dBi. It is also for use with APs and bridges, and is for use in the 5 GHz frequency band.
Background
The current connectors on the dipoles, which are black, do not meet RoHS standards (the Reduction of Hazardous substances found in products). All Cisco products must be RoHS certified by July 1, 2006.
In order to meet the criteria, the connector needed to be changed. This creates a different appearance than what a customer will be used to seeing. They will start shipping with a silver connector.
Cisco Systems has effected these changes to comply with RoHS standards. The RoHS directive only applies to product sold in the European Union and will not alter the features and functionality of the product. For more details regarding RoHS compliance, you may visit our FAQ.

Workaround/Solution
Customers will only see a color difference in connectors on the antenna, but performance remains unaffected. The new silver connectored dipole will start shipping on April 24, 2006. Customers may begin receiving them at that time. It is possible for customers to receive dipoles with both silver and black connectors as the manufacturing facilities deplete their stock of those dipoles with black connectors.
