ICM IPCC AW/Distributor - 5.0.0_SR7 only
Problem Description
When installing or uninstalling ICM/IPCC Enterprise and Hosted Edition version 5.0(0)_SR7 on an Administration Workstations (AW) distributorwhere WebView reporting is not currently enabled, the installation or de-installation process hangs and the CPU goes to 100 percent utilization, 99 percent of which is used by the Patchpbl process, or the installer gives a Patchpbl Create error.
Background
This problem only occurs on ICM 5.0(0)_SR7.
Problem Symptoms
ICM 5.0(0)_SR7 will not install or uninstall correctly by either utilizing 100 percent of the CPU time or producing a Patchpbl Create error.
Workaround/Solution
Run the ICM_5.0(0)_SR7_AW_Pre_Installer_Uninstaller, available for download at the Software Center on Cisco.com or on any AW (non-WebView distributor) before installing or uninstalling SR7.
This problem, requiring the use of the special installer or uninstaller, will be fixed in the next upcoming Service Release.
