Problem Description
The incorrect faceplace has numbering on the ports that read zero to three, left to right.
The correct faceplate has numbering on the ports that read three to zero, left to right.
Background
Some VIC-4FXS/DID modules have been sent out with incorrect faceplates. Please review this Field Notice to determine if you may have any of these defective modules.
Problem Symptoms
Review the faceplate diagrams above to determine if this Field Notice applies to any VIC-4FXS/DID modules.
Workaround/Solution
Open a Case with the Cisco Technical Assistance Center, citing this hardware replacement Field Notice (23374) and the number of defective modules that need to be replaced. Replacement parts and Return Material Authorization (RMA) information will be provided. Replacement parts will be fulfilled from manufacturing inventory.
