Setup in a Windows 2000 Active Directory environment can fail when adding users or ICM administration groups. This occurs in an Active Directory environment only. The failure is due to domain synchronization latency. It occurs when a user that was just created by setup is not found when setup attempts to add it to a local group.

A new version of ICM 4.6.2 is available to order free of charge for existing customers on maintenance. The CD is labeled as 4.6.2a.
You should obtain a copy of the new 4.6.2a CD from your supplier.
The change was specific to one new security dll. None of the other code for the ICM was changed.
Utilize the following procedure to assure successful operation and avoid potential issues: When running setup from the new CD, use the 4.6.2a CD in place of the 4.6.2 CD when a CD configuration or load is required for an ICM component.
Note:?The new CD is required ONLY if you are running setup from the CD.
Every ICM Deployment will also have the ICM software loaded on the hard drive. To update this software, use the following procedure:
Download Hotfix 93 from Cisco.com.
Load Hotfix 93 on the servers in question.
Follow the instructions for applying the hotfix.
Note:? This installs the new security dll.
Note:?Any new orders placed with Cisco for 4.6.2 will now be filled with the new 4.6.2a. If your system was loaded with ICM 4.6.2a, there are no actions required.
