WebNS 4.0 |
Defect is only found in WebNS 4.0 builds before build 7s |
Problem Description
A CSS 11800 series Content Services Switch running WebNS 4.0 (ap0400003 through ap0400006s) with source groups configured can crash if the following occurs:
-
An Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) echo or echo reply packet is received by one of the Switch Fabric Processors (SFPs).
-
The SFP determines that the flow information for this source group entry is on another SFP and forwards the message.
-
The Ipv4SfmForwRx() receive task that receives the ICMP packet on the neighbor SFP crashes.
Any CSS 11800 series Content Services Switch product running WebNS 4.0 should be running build 7s or higher.
