Problem Description
The Transaction Language 1 (TL1) command RTRV-ALM-LOG is not functional in Release R1.03.
Background
In Release R1.03:
-
The TL1 command RTRV-ALM-ALL was fixed.
-
An improperly generated BellCore GR-253-Core Channel Mismatch Alarm was fixed.

The TL1 command RTRV-ALM-LOG was not functional.
Problem Symptoms
The RTRV-ALM-LOG TL1 command was not functional in Release R1.03 and has been fixed in this release. The command gives the ability to access a stored record of the most recent alarms.
Workaround/Solution
If your system is running release R1.02, you are not using TL1, and you are not interoperating with other vendor. s equipment, an upgrade to release R1.04 is not required.
If you must upgrade your system, please follow the upgrade procedure in the Cerent User Documentation, which can be found on the software CD. This release incorporates all the fixes of Release R1.03 and corrects the problems outlined in Cisco Field Notice 1: Release 1.0 - Improperly Generated Protection Switch Channel Mismatch Alarm.
