Introduction

This document provides definitions of Serial Data Input (SDI) and Network Data Input (NDI) when seen in a debug, as in the Verify section of the Configuring STUN Virtual Multipoint document.

SDI

SDI represents a packet that is sourced by a local serial tunneling (STUN) encapsulated interface and is destined for either serial, direct, or TCP encapsulation.

NDI

NDI represents a packet that has come across the network via serial, direct, or TCP encapsulation, and is destined to a STUN encapsulated interface.
