JBOD (Just Bunch of Disks) - Linear; treats each drive as a stand-alone disk. RAID 0 - Bit Striping; Volume stores data in stripes on two or more physical disks. Data in a striped volume is allocated alternately and evenly in stripes to these disks. RAID 1 - Mirroring; It writes data to two disk simultaneously. It uses fault tolerance driver to simultaneously write the same data to the volume of member on each of two physical disks.
