Q. How do I set up a static IP address for the WVC210?

  1. The camera is a DHCP by default. The IP address of the device displays on the LCD front panel. This device obtains an IP address from your router or DHCP server.

  2. Launch your Internet Explorer browser and then type the IP address of the device (for example, http://192.168.146.26). The default username and password for the device is admin. The welcome screen of the Web-based utility appears.

  3. Click the Setup tab to change the configuration for the device.

  4. Click Basic and from Network Settings-Configuration Type, select Fixed IP Address. Set the desired IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and DNS numbers. Then, click Apply or Save settings at the bottom part of the page.

  5. The IP address of the device displays on the LCD front panel. It should be the IP address you saved in the camera.
