This document describes where you can find previous versions of Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) files and plug-ins. You need these files in order to run Cisco Transport Controller (CTC) software for the Cisco ONS 15454.

The information in this document is based on a Cisco ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Release 2.2.1.

Files You Require
As the CTC user documentation states:

Use JRE 1.2.2_05 if you connect to an ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Release 2.2.1 or earlier.

JRE 1.3 versions are recommended for an ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Releases 3.0 through 4.5.

JRE 1.4 versions are recommended for an ONS 15454 that runs CTC Software Release 4.6 or 4.7.
