Change in Product Part Number Announcement for the Cisco CRS-1 Product Line - Modular Service Card (MSC)
Cisco Systems® announces change in product part numbers for the Cisco® CRS-1 product line - Modular Service Card (MSC). This is a product part number change only announcement. There is neither hardware change nor function change by using the new product IDs. The new product IDs are designed to simplify the customer ordering process by combining multiple part numbers into a single ID. The last day to order the affected product is Aug 14, 2006. Customers will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until otherwise specified by a component-specific end-of-life announcement or new product ID. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.

Product Migration Options
There is neither hardware change nor function change by using the new announced product IDs. The new product IDs are designed to simplify the ordering process by bundling multiple part numbers into a single ID. See Product Comparisons below to see BEFORE and AFTER but they both point at the same hardware.
