Information

The sendmail module in the CSS uses the management IP address as the sender. At this time, this setup is not configurable. The default management IP address for the CSS 11000 is 1.1.1.1. By default, the CSS 11500 configuration does not include a management address. If you have more than one CSS, it is advised that youmake the management IP addresses unique. To change the management IP address, issuee following:

config
boot
ip address x.x.x.x

reboot

Here is an example message:

From: 1.1.1.1 [mailto:1.1.1.1]
Sent: None
Subject: Log Message from 1.1.1.1: Alert error
