Solutions

Solution 1 (Versions Prior to 3.10)

If you are using versions of SCA prior to 3.10, the connection settings should be as follows:

  • 115200 baud

  • 8 data bits

  • no parity

  • 1 stop bit

  • no flow control

A null modem is used to connect to the console port. For more information, refer to Using the QuickStart Wizard.

Solution 2 (Versions 3.10 and Later)

If you are using versions of SCA that are 3.10 (and later) or SCA2, the connection settings should be as follows:

  • 9600 baud

  • 8 data bits

  • no parity

  • 1 stop bit

  • no flow control

A null modem is used to connect to the console port. For more information, refer to Using the QuickStart Wizard.

Note: In version 3.10, the terminal baud non-privileged command was added to allow selection of 1200-115200.

Note: The current baud setting can be verified with the show terminal non-privileged command
