Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco GSS 4491 Global Site Selector. The last day to order the affected product is May 15, 2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until October 19, 2011. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by thisannouncement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco GSS 4492R Global Site Selector. Table 2 provides relevant information for migrating to the replacement product.

Note: The GSS 4492R only supports version 1.3.2. This means all GSSs in a GSS network must be running v1.3.2 to communicate with the GSS 4492R.
