The Cisco Mobile Content Filtering and Control solution for mobile operators helps you offer granular, per-subscriber content control to address social, corporate, and governmental requirements defining the acceptable use of mobile data services.

The Cisco Content Filtering solution is based on the integration of the Cisco Content Services Gateway (CSG) and the AdaptiveMobile Messaging and Data Control Environment (MDCE).

When content filtering is deployed, every request for Internet content is examined to determine if the subscriber has requested or has been assigned filtering services.

When content filtering is required, requests are routed to the MDCE, where they are tested against a dynamic database of categorized web resources to determine whether the request should be permitted or denied.
