This preface describes the audience, organization, and conventions of the Cisco UCS Site Preparation Guide. It also provides information on how to obtain related documentation.

Audience

This guide is intended for anyone who plans the facilities, including space, floor weighting, power, cooling, racking, cabling, delivery, and storage, for the installation of the Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) components.

Document Organization

This document is organized into the following chapters:

Chapter	Description
Chapter 1 "Overview"	Provides an overview of the Cisco UCS and its components.
Chapter 2 "Preparing the Site"	Describes the basic site requirements for installing the Cisco UCS and its components.
