This chapter provides a quick reference for the following topics:
•Supported NX-OS and SAN-OS Releases on Cisco MDS 9000 Switches, Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches, and Cisco Nexus 5000 Series Switches
•HBA and CNA Support Matrix
•Storage Device Support Matrix
•Tape Device Support Matrix
Table 1-1 lists Cisco MDS 9000 switches, Cisco Nexus 7000 Series switches, and Cisco Nexus 5000 Series switches, and the Cisco NX-OS and SAN-OS software releases that each switch supports. The switches listed in this table support the disk and tape storage products and the CNA and HBA devices listed in Table 1-2 , Table 1-3 , and Table 1-4 . We recommend that customers use the latest release of Cisco NX-OS or SAN-OS software listed in Table 1-1 .
