License Versions
For the Mediator Manager to communicate with another Mediator, it is necessary that the Mediator includes a global management license enabled on it.
For different versions of the licenses, the following conditions are applicable:
1) If the Mediator includes a license of version 3.0 and has been communicating with the Mediator Manager, then upgrading the Mediator does not affect this communication
2) If the Mediator includes a license of version 3.1, then it is necessary that the global management license is enabled on that Mediator.

Note
A point is a generic term used to describe a single item of information in a building control system monitored or controlled by a Mediator. For example, temperature of a room, duct pressure of an air handling unit (AHU) and chiller water flow rate are examples of points. The number of points needed in a particular project may be provided by the customer, project consultant or a partner.
Note
The number of points within a Mediator Manager is determined by the number of points within each Mediator that is managed by that Mediator Manager. For example, if a Mediator Manager is managing a network of 150 Mediators and each Mediator has a total of 1000 points configured, the Mediator Manager is managing a network of 150,000 points.
