Deployment of .war File in WebLogic 9.2/10

To deploy cepm.war, follow these steps:


Step 1 Start WebLogic by executing the script startWebLogic.cmd.

Step 2 Open the administrative console in your browser.

Step 3 After successfully logging in, click on the Deployments

Step 4 Click Lock & Edit button.

Step 5 Click Install in the Deployments section.

Step 6 Navigate to .../CEPM-V3.3.2.0/dist folder.

Step 7 Select cepm.war file, and click Next.

Step 8 In the Choose Targeting Style section, click Next.

Step 9 In the Optional Settings section, click Next.

Step 10 Click Finish.

Step 11 Click Activate Changes

Step 12 To start the application, go back to Deployments page, select cepm checkboxand click Start > Servicing All Requests.

Step 13 A confirmation page appears. Click Yes.


Follow the same steps to deploy pdp.war file in WebLogic server.

To deploy cepm.ear, follow these steps:


Step 1 Open the WebSphere console in a new browser window

Step 2 After login to the console, choose Home > Application > Install New Applications.

Step 3 Select the Local file system or Remote file system option as per your requirement and click Browse

Step 4 Browse cepm.ear from CEPM-V3.3.2.0/dist folder and click Next. The Select installation options page is displayed.

Step 5 Click Next. The Map modules to servers page is displayed.

Step 6 Select cepm.war and pdp.war checkboxes and click Next. The Summary page is displayed.

Step 7 Click Finish.

Step 8 Click Save to save the changes to the master configuration.

Step 9 In the Enterprise Applications page, select the CEPM checkbox and click Start to start CEPM.
