Minimum System Requirements

This chapter lists system requirements for different components of the Cisco Enterprise Policy Manager (CEPM).

Minimum Hardware Requirements for Server Machine

The following minimum system hardware configuration is necessary to install and deploy the PAP and PDP:

500 MHz

1GB RAM

40 GB hard disk

CD-ROM drive (internal)

10/100 Mbps network card

512 MB minimum space

Minimum Software Requirements for Server Machine

The following minimum system software configuration is necessary to install and deploy the PAP and PDP:

Minimum Database Requirements

The following minimum database system software configuration is necessary to install and deploy the PAP and PDP:

A database user with privileges listed in the next section should be created prior to installation.


Refer Appendix A, "Creating tablespace and user in CEPM Database" for more details about how to create CEPM DB tablespace and DB user by granting necessary privileges in Oracle and DB2.
