Updating CEPM License

CEPM licenses are granted on a component basis. If the license expires, you must update the license files of the individual components, for example, license-pap.xml for the PAP and license-pdp.xml for the PDP. If the validity period is lapsed, Cisco will provide the updated license files upon request.

To reactivate the license, follow these steps:

Step 1 Replace .../CEPM-V3.3.0.0/config/license-pap.xml file and ../CEPM-V3.3.0.0/config/pdp/license-pdp.xml file with the updated ones.

Step 2 Restart the server. For example, if you are using embedded tomcat server, go to .../CEPM-V3.3.0.0/bin and run shutdowncepmgui.bat(sh) followed by startcepmgui.bat(sh).

This renews the CEPM license with the prescribed validity period. For support, contact securent-support@cisco.com.
