The Cisco StadiumVision Mobile server environment does not currently support automatic failover to a backup server. If you want to build some redundancy into your environment, you can set up two servers that are configured identically to have the ability to manually fail over as needed.
To set up redundant servers, complete the following steps:
Step 1 Install two Cisco StadiumVision Mobile Reporter servers. referred to as primary (active production server) and secondary (backup server).
Step 2 Assign each server a unique IP address.
Step 3 Configure each server identically, according to the options that you have set up in the Text Utility Interface (TUI), including but not limited to:
To perform a manual failover to a secondary server, complete the following steps:
Step 1 Download the following files from the primary Cisco StadiumVision Mobile Reporter to your laptop, and select the most recent version for each file, where the asterisk (*) in the filename shown here represents a timestamp in the actual file name:
Step 2 Restore these files onto the secondary server.

Step 3 Log into the Cisco StadiumVision Mobile Streamer.
Step 4 On the Defaults tab, change the Reporter URL to reflect the address of the secondary Cisco StadiumVision Mobile Reporter server.
