Installing Unified CCE 12.5(2) ES17


Installation of this patch requires that all Unified CCE services be shut down during the entire period of installation.

  1. It is always recommended to install this ES during a scheduled downtime.
  2. Using the Unified CCE Service Control, stop all the Unified CCE Services running on the system.
  3. Launch the installer provided and follow the instructions on the screen.

If the Unified CCE Services are set to manual, using the Unified CCE Service Control, start all the Unified CCE Services.

Uninstall Directions for Unified CCE 12.5(2) ES17


  1. To uninstall this patch, go to Control Panel.
  2. Select "Add or Remove Programs".
  3. Find the installed patch in the list and select "Remove".

Note: Remove patches in the reverse order of their installation. For example, if you installed patches 3, then 5, then 10 for a product, you must uninstall patches 10, 5, and 3, in that order, to remove the patches from that product.

Headline: Internet Script Editor (ISE) getting into upgrade loop due to missing iBuildInfo.dll


Symptom:
Whenever we are delivering the new version of Script Editor it keeps on asking the upgradation of Internet Script Editor (ISE) if we are not pushing the iBuildInfo.dll Launch ISE, it will ask the upgradation for ISE again with dialog box: " A new version of Script Editor is available. Do you want to upgrade now?" It will keep on asking if iBuildInfo.dll is not invoked.

Conditions:
User tries to upgrade ISE (Internet Script Editor)

Workaround:
None

Headline: ICM installation Patch Completed with warning in 1252ES Admin Client


Symptom:
ICM Patch installation in Admin Client for 1252ES fails with the following error:

2022-12-19 01:40:18 [Information] All modal messages are now closed.
2022-12-19 01:40:18 [Warning] Failed to backup C:\icm\bin\RedeployTomcatFiles.ps1
2022-12-19 01:40:18 [Information] Updating version for specific instances.
2022-12-19 01:40:18 [Information] ICM current version is set to 12.5 for the instance ucce


Conditions:
While installing/uninstalling the 1252ES patch on Admin client it shows the warning message in logs

Workaround:
None
