CISCO SOFTWARE BUG TOOLKIT - SPOTLIGHT:
Search for Known Software Bugs

You can use the Cisco Software Bug Toolkit to identify and evaluate defects that have real or potential impact to your network. Search for Cisco IOS-related bugs, bugs in other Cisco software such as CatOS, or Cisco hardware products, based on software version, feature set, and keywords. After completing a search, the Bug Toolkit provides you with a matrix showing when each bug was integrated or fixed, if applicable.

You can also use the Bug Toolkit to:

  • Monitor a specific network situation by creating and managing saved searches. Edit a saved search at any time to change the alert conditions, the defects being watched, or the network profile.


  • Create a bug group and bug alert agent and use them to monitor the status of specific defects. Choose to receive status updates about the defects in real-time or via e-mail.
