Accommodation arrangements for the duration of the conference must be arranged and paid for by each delegate (unfortunately there is no sponsorship available from Cisco). We are suggesting that all out-of-town delegates to the African Academy Safari 2009 – Mombasa – Kenya, stay at Lotus Hotel, which is very near Kenyatta University. You are responsible for making your reservation directly with the hotel and may contact them at the information below. The hotel is aware of the Cisco Systems conference, so make sure you indicate you are with the “Cisco Conference” group when you reserve your room at the hotel. The hotels will only confirm bookings once they have received payment from you. The Hotel would prefer that you reserve of confirm your attendance before 15th March 2009 to give ample for the Hotel management to secure your Rooms. Budget Accommodation – Three Star: Rates Exclusive of Government Taxes i.e. VAT 16% ,Catering Levy 2%. Accommodation is for each delegate’s own account. Payment can be made by credit card, wire transfer, or cash. Please contact the hotel directly to arrange for this payment, or reserve your room online. We ask that you arrange for your hotel reservation as soon as possible and cancel no later than 2 weeks prior to the event. Please note that if you postpone cancellation within fourteen days of the event, you may be held liable for the cost of the room even if you are unable to arrive. Please note: If you are seeking shared accommodation and are not traveling with another member of your Academy, we will try to link you to another participant seeking shared accommodation.
