Problemen met SEG of SWA Factory Reset oplossen met behulp van enablediag

Inleiding

In dit document wordt beschreven hoe u de SEG- of SWA-hardwareapparaten kunt resetten als u de verificatiemethode EnableDiag gebruikt.

Voorwaarden

Gebruikte componenten

• Cisco Secure Email Gateway (SEG) AsyncOS 14.2.2 of nieuwere versies
• Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) AsyncOS 14.5.1-008 of nieuwere versies

De informatie in dit document is gebaseerd op de apparaten in een specifieke laboratoriumomgeving. Alle apparaten die in dit document worden beschreven, hadden een opgeschoonde (standaard)configuratie. Als uw netwerk live is, moet u zorgen dat u de potentiële impact van elke opdracht begrijpt.

Probleem

De SEG/SWA is niet toegankelijk via WebUI of het netwerk. Als een upgrade mislukt of services beschadigd raken, blijft een RMA de enige optie. Met deze mogelijkheid kunt u de fabrieksinstellingen van het toestel herstellen en de noodzaak van een RMA vermijden.

Oplossing

1. Toegang tot de SEG/SWA via de console of een Ethernet-terminalsessie.

2. Log in met deze referenties:

• Gebruikersnaam: enablediag
• Wachtwoord: admin wachtwoord

3. Voer de opdracht Resetappliance uit.

4. Selecteer de gewenste vorige versie in de weergegeven lijst.

5. Bevestig de resetbewerking.

6. Wacht tot het toestel alle instellingen heeft gewist en de systeemstandaardinstellingen heeft gewijzigd, inclusief het verwijderen van de IP-instellingen van het netwerk.

7. Controleer of de SEG/SWA weer schoon en ongeconfigureerd is en klaar is voor installatie.

This command will revert the appliance to a previous version of AsyncOS.

Warning: Reverting the appliance is extremely destructive.
The following data will be destroyed in the process and should be backed up:
 - current system configuration file
 - all log files
 - all reporting data (including saved scheduled and archived reports)
 - any custom end user notification pages
 - current network settings

Reverting the device will cause a reboot to take place.
After rebooting, the appliance reinitializes itself and reboots
again to the desired version, with default system configuration.

- all databases (including messages in Virus Outbreak and Policy quarantines)

- all message tracking data
- all IronPort Spam Quarantine message and end-user safelist/blocklist data


Before running this command, be sure you have:
- saved the configuration file of this appliance (with passwords unmasked)
- exported the IronPort Spam Quarantine safelist/blocklist database
  to another machine (if applicable)
- waited for the mail queue to empty

Reverting the device causes an immediate reboot to take place.
After rebooting, the appliance reinitializes itself and reboots
again to the desired version.
