Installation du correctif sur ISE

Ce document décrit les méthodes d'installation des correctifs ISE et des FAQ pendant l'installation.

Les informations contenues dans ce document sont basées sur les versions de matériel et de logiciel suivantes :

Informations générales

Cisco publie des correctifs ISE sur une base semi-régulière. Ces correctifs contiennent des corrections de bogues et, si nécessaire, des correctifs de sécurité (par exemple, Heartbleed et Poodle vulnérabilités détectées avec SSL).

Pour s'assurer que les corrections de bogues sont appliquées, les vulnérabilités de sécurité sont branchées et la solution fonctionne de manière transparente.

Lorsque vous installez un correctif sur un noeud ISE, le noeud est redémarré. Redémarrez les services une fois l'installation terminée. Patientez quelques minutes avant de pouvoir vous reconnecter.

Vous pouvez planifier l’installation des correctifs pendant une période de maintenance pour éviter une panne temporaire.

Installez uniquement les correctifs applicables à la version Cisco déployée sur votre réseau. Cisco signale toute incompatibilité de version ainsi que toute erreur dans le fichier du correctif.

Vous ne pouvez pas installer un correctif d'une version inférieure à celle actuellement installée sur Cisco. De même, vous ne pouvez pas restaurer les modifications effectuées par un correctif de version antérieure si une version ultérieure est actuellement installée sur Cisco.

Lorsque vous installez un correctif à partir du Primary Administration Node (PAN) qui fait partie d'un déploiement distribué, Cisco ISE installe le correctif sur le noeud principal, puis sur tous les noeuds secondaires du déploiement.

Si l'installation du correctif réussit sur le PAN, Cisco ISE poursuit ensuite l'installation des correctifs sur les noeuds secondaires. En cas d'échec sur le PAN, l'installation ne se poursuit pas jusqu'aux noeuds secondaires.

Toutefois, si l’installation échoue sur l’un des nœuds secondaires pour une raison quelconque, elle se poursuit avec le nœud secondaire suivant dans votre déploiement.

Lorsque vous installez un correctif à partir du PAN qui fait partie d'un déploiement à deux noeuds, Cisco installe le correctif sur le noeud principal, puis sur le noeud secondaire.

Si l'installation du correctif réussit sur le PAN, Cisco poursuit ensuite l'installation du correctif sur le noeud secondaire. En cas d'échec sur le  PAN, l'installation ne se poursuit pas jusqu'au noeud secondaire.

Vous devez avoir le rôle de super administrateur ou d’administrateur système pour installer ou restaurer les correctifs. Collectez la sauvegarde de la configuration et la sauvegarde opérationnelle avant le démarrage de l'installation du correctif.

Installation des correctifs avec interface graphique utilisateur

Pour télécharger les correctifs ISE à partir du site Cisco.com, accédez à Downloads > Products > Security > Access Control and Policy > Identity Services Engine > Identity Services Engine Software, ( ici.)

Remarque : les correctifs Cisco ISE sont généralement cumulatifs, ce qui signifie que l'installation du correctif 11 inclut tous les correctifs, du correctif 1 au correctif 10. L’installation des correctifs nécessite un redémarrage du serveur ISE.

Remarque : vérifiez la somme de contrôle MD5/SHA512 après le téléchargement du fichier de correctif.

Pour appliquer le correctif sur ISE, connectez-vous à ISE Primary Administration Node (PAN) GUI et exécutez ces instructions : 

Étape 1. Naviguez jusqu'à  Administration > System > Maintenance > Patch Management > Install.

Étape 2. Cliquer Browse et choisissez le fichier de correctif téléchargé à partir de Cisco.com.

Étape 3.Cliquez sur Install pour installer le patch.

Installation des correctifs avec CLI

Étape 1. Configurez un référentiel ISE et placez le correctif ISE requis dans le référentiel. Pour configurer le référentiel ISE, consultez la procédure de configuration du référentiel sur ISE

Étape 2. Connectez-vous à ISE CLI avec SSH.

Étape 3. Assurez-vous que l’ISE CLI peut répertorier le contenu du référentiel.

Étape 4. Afin d'installer le correctif sur un noeud ISE spécifique à partir de l'interface de ligne de commande, exécutez le patch install en mode EXEC.

Comment installer le correctif sur tous les nœuds ISE du déploiement

Lorsque vous installez un correctif à partir du PAN qui fait partie d'un déploiement distribué, Cisco ISE installe le correctif sur le noeud principal, puis sur tous les noeuds secondaires du déploiement.

Si l’installation du correctif est réussie sur le PAN principal, Cisco ISE poursuit l’installation du correctif sur les nœuds secondaires. En cas d'échec sur le PAN, l'installation ne se poursuit pas jusqu'aux noeuds secondaires.

Toutefois, si l’installation échoue sur l’un des nœuds secondaires pour une raison quelconque, elle se poursuit avec le nœud secondaire suivant dans votre déploiement.

Comment restaurer le correctif sur tous les nœuds ISE du déploiement

Pour restaurer un correctif à partir des noeuds Cisco ISE dans un déploiement, vous devez d'abord restaurer la modification à partir de PAN.

Si cela réussit, le correctif est ensuite restauré à partir des nœuds secondaires. Si le processus de restauration échoue sur le PAN, les correctifs ne sont pas restaurés à partir des noeuds secondaires.

Toutefois, si la restauration du correctif échoue sur un nœud secondaire, la restauration du correctif se poursuit à partir du nœud secondaire suivant dans votre déploiement.

Pendant que Cisco ISE restaure le correctif des noeuds secondaires, vous pouvez continuer à effectuer d'autres tâches à partir de PAN GUI. Les noeuds secondaires redémarrent après la restauration.

Pour restaurer les correctifs ISE, connectez-vous à ISE GUI et accédez à Administration > System > Maintenance > Patch Management > et sélectionnez le correctif requis, puis cliquez sur Rollback, comme illustré :

Comment restaurer le correctif à partir de CLI ISE?

Étape 1.  Connectez-vous en SSH au nœud ISE pour lequel vous souhaitez supprimer le correctif.

Étape 2. Vérifiez les correctifs installés sur le noeud ISE à l'aide de la commande  Show Version

Étape 3. Exécuter la commande patch remove <nom de l'application> <numéro du fichier de correctif à supprimer> 

            Par exemple : - patch remove ise 2

Remarque : les correctifs ISE sont cumulatifs par nature et ne peuvent pas être restaurés tant qu'une version plus récente existe. La version la plus récente nécessite d'abord une restauration.

  Pour désinstaller le correctif précédent, désinstallez d'abord le dernier correctif, puis la version précédente.

Vérifier

Pour afficher la progression de l'installation des correctifs ISE, accédez à Administration > System > Maintenance > Patch Management  > Show Node Status comme l'illustre l'image :

Vérifiez l'état d'installation des correctifs depuis le noeud ISE. Connectez-vous au même serveur ISE et exécutez la commande Show Version
