Use this document to install Radianta Beacon Office for use with the Cisco Unified Application Environment, Release 2.4.3. This guide includes the following topics:

Installing Radianta Beacon Office
To install the Radianta Beacon Office applications, follow these steps:
Procedure
Step 1 Insert the Applications DVD into the drive of the Cisco Unified Application Server.
Windows Explorer appears displaying the contents of the DVD.
Step 2 Locate this executable file and run the self-extracting installer: Beacon_Office_Setup.exe.
The package is extracted and the license agreement appears.
Step 3 Read it, and if you agree with the terms, click I Agree.
The Beacon Office Setup: Site Info dialog box appears.
Step 4 Enter values as described in Table 2:
Step 5 Click Next, then click Install.
Step 6 When the installation is complete, click Close.
Step 7 When the Beacon Office Setup dialog appears, click Yes to restart the server.
Step 8 After installation, the Radianta Beacon Office applications may be disabled. To enable them, follow these steps:
a. Log in to the Cisco Unified Application Environment management console.
b. From the Main Control Panel, under Components, click Applications.
c. Select the applications, then click Enable.

Uninstalling Radianta Beacon Office
To uninstall Radianta Beacon Office applications, follow these steps:
Procedure
Step 1 From the Windows Control Panel,
a. Open Add or Remove Programs.
b. Click Change or Remove Programs.
c. Select Radianta Beacon Office, then click Remove.
Step 2 Log in to the Cisco Unified Application Environment management console.
a. From the Main Control Panel, under Components, click Applications.
b. Select the applications you want to remove, then click Disable Application.
c. Click Uninstall Application, then click Yes to confirm.
d. From the Main Control Panel, under Components, click Providers.
e. Select the providers you want to disable, then click Disable Provider.
f. Click Uninstall Providers, then click Yes to confirm.
Step 3 (Optional) Remove the Radianta Beacon Office database:
a. Open a command prompt, then enter mysql -u root -p.
b. When prompted, enter root password.
c. Enter drop database radianta
d. Enter exit.
