Q. How do I set up ethernet ports on a Spinnaker 6000?
A. Connect the cable for the network that will be used to manage your Spinnaker encoder on one of the available Management Ethernet ports. Use a Cat. 5 (or better) Ethernet cable. Also, connect the cable for the IP input to your Spinnaker encoder to either Input port. Keep in mind that Spinnaker only detects input on Input1. You may also connect a second cable for a secondary input. Two Output ports are provided, but any port may be used for output. TS Output will default to Output1, then Output2, unless a preferred adapter is specified on the TS Output page.
Q. How many output streams are supported by the Spinnaker 6000?
A. The S6000 is capable of outputting 8 streams per input channel. For example, with 2 input channels it is possible to output a total of 16 streams. Keep in mind that this may be constrained by CPU usage.
Q. Where do I find the UDP Tool on the Spinnaker 6000?
