A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a private network that is used to virtually connect devices of the remote user through the public network to provide security. The VPN Summary page displays general information about the router’s IPSec VPN tunnel settings. Internet Protocol Securtiy (IPSec) provides a secure IP communication through authentication and encryption. The WRVS router supports up to five Gateway-to-Gateway tunnels, which is a tunnel created between two VPN Routers or other VPN devices.
This document explains the number of VPN tunnels used and number of VPN tunnels available on the router as well as VPN Client status on WRVS4400N Router.
Note: Refer to the article VPN Tunnel Setup on WRVS4400N Router on how to establish a VPN tunnel.
