A vulnerability in Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning (PCP) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access the Java Remote Method Invocation (RMI) system.
The vulnerability is due to an open port in the Network Interface and Configuration Engine (NICE) service. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by accessing the open RMI system on an affected PCP instance. An exploit could allow the attacker to perform malicious actions that affect PCP and the devices that are connected to it.
Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.

Vulnerable Products
This vulnerability affects Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning (PCP) Releases 11.6 and prior.
Administrators can determine the current PCP release from the Cisco PCP GUI:
- Log in to PCP
- Click the settings icon near the top right of the screen
- Click About
The release information is also displayed on the login screen.
Products Confirmed Not Vulnerable
Only products listed in the Vulnerable Products section of this advisory are known to be affected by this vulnerability.

There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.

Cisco has released free software updates that address the vulnerability described in this advisory. Customers may only install and expect support for software versions and feature sets for which they have purchased a license. By installing, downloading, accessing, or otherwise using such software upgrades, customers agree to follow the terms of the Cisco software license:

Fixed Releases
This vulnerability is fixed in Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning Releases 12.1 and later.
The software can be downloaded from the Software Center on Cisco.com by clicking Browse all and navigating to Cloud and Systems Management > Collaboration and Unified Communications Management > Prime Collaboration.
