Product Migration Options
The recommended replacement for the Cisco OC-12/STM-4 ATM Enhanced OSM is the Cisco 7600 Series SPA Interface Processor-400 with the Cisco 1-Port OC-12c/STM-4c ATM Shared Port Adapter plus the appropriate optics (Table 3). The Cisco 7600 Series SPA Interface Processor-400 enables high-performance, intelligent triple-play (voice, video, and data) WAN and MAN services. Enterprises and service providers can take full advantage of the increased scalability, performance, and rich features offered by the Cisco 7600 Series SPA Interface Processor-400, along with the many interface and media options for WAN aggregation and connectivity offered in the Shared Port Adapter (SPA) portfolio. The Cisco 7600 Series SPA Interface Processor-400 accepts up to four SPAs, including OC-3/STM-1 ATM, OC-12/STM-4 ATM, OC-3/STM-1 packet over SONET/SDH (POS), and OC-12/STM-4 POS.
