Katy ISD Transforms Education with Mobile Learning

Challenge

With constrained funding for education, Katy Independent School District needed to fundamentally change the mode of curriculum delivery, as old methods were no longer working.

Katy ISD used Cisco mobility solutions to implement a successful bring-your-own-device (BYOD) strategy and transform teaching and learning.

Results

With the help of Cisco technology, Katy ISD has seen:

The new initiative gives students the freedom to use the tools they prefer and live with every day - smartphones, iPads, iPods, and any other devices they choose.
