Cisco recommends the purchase of a Data Center Storage Networking lab configuration for the purposes of customer fault replication, internal training, and proof-of-concept demonstrations. In order to provide flexible options in fulfilling the Data Center Storage Networking lab requirement, various product choices are accessible via the product category links below. Your Data Center Storage Networking lab environment should contain at least one product from each of the following product categories:

Cisco MDS 9506 Multilayer Director Switch
Cisco MDS 9216i Multilayer Fabric Switch

Note - Ethernet connectivity equipment is required but not listed here.
