To advance the integration of Lifecycle Services capabilities into the enhanced Cisco Channel Partner Program, Cisco has developed the Partner Services Assessment for the Advanced Security and Advanced Unified Communications Specializations.
The Cisco Lifecycle Services approach defines the minimum set of activities needed – by technology and network complexity – to help you successfully deploy and operate Cisco technologies and optimize their performance throughout the lifecycle of your customers' networks. Using Cisco knowledge and expertise in successfully selling and deploying our advanced technology solutions, Cisco has defined key service practice areas around these activities. Our goal is to provide you with opportunities to increase your profitability by helping you improve your skills, enhance your portfolio, and expand your service practice. The Partner Services Assessment helps you identify the practice areas within your organization that can be improved and offers leading-practice recommendations to help you increase your success in all phases of your customers' network or solution lifecycles.
Completing the Partner Services Assessment will be required for all Cisco Certified Partners and Cisco Registered Partners that apply for the Advanced Security and Advanced Unified Communications Specializations, effective August 1, 2006.
For Cisco Gold and Silver Certified Partners, the Partner Service Assessment will be incorporated into the existing onsite audit requirements, starting with certification renewals that begin after March 1, 2007.
Cisco Premier and Registered Partners will not be required to conduct an onsite audit, but will be able to complete the assessment and be audited remotely via the Partner Services Assessment tool, located within the Certification and Specialization Application tool.
