Italtel and Telecom Italia - UC Managed Services Partner Awards
During this year's Partner Summit event in Honolulu, Italtel and Telecom Italia were awarded two separate partner awards around Unified Communications and Managed Services.
Managed Services Partner of the Year – European Theater Winner
Telecom Italia is one of the biggest Cisco Partners in Italy. During FY07 they seized the opportunities presented by UC and set the pace with an innovative market approach that saw the launch of Alice Corporate IPPBX moving from traditional voice to integrated VoIP for Managed Services. This managed services offering was made possible through the collaboration between Cisco and Italtel who sold Telecom Italtel the jointly developed Managed Business Voice Service Solution (IN-BVS). This award recognizes the strengths and continued commitment for Cisco and a strong performance and successful partnership with Cisco.
UC Partner of the Year - Italy
Italtel is one of the strongest partners in Italy. Their loyalty to Cisco has led to successful innovation with the Business Voice Solution. By integrating IMSS with Cisco UC technologies, the results have been managed and provisioned Voice Solutions that enabled Tl to be very effective in selling UC managed services to their customers. The majority of the big UC wins in Italy have been based on this solution.
Italtel was also awarded Silver Partner of the Year and Service Provider Partner of the Year for the South American Regional Awards.
