IP-Services Charging Node (ICN)

Teligent has developed a packaged Cisco Mobile Service Exchange Framework and Content Services Gateway (CSG) turnkey solution called IP-Services Charging Node (ICN). The ICN solution is vendor independent and therefore integrates easily with existing voice prepaid, and billing systems so that operators can maintain their previous investments. The ICN is already integrated with systems from major incumbent vendors of the industry.

The Teligent ICN is the ideal turnkey solution for wireless operators seeking to apply advanced and flexible charging methods for mobile data traffic. With an ICN a mobile operator can charge its customers by event, data volume, and connection time, and even the actual value a service brings to the subscriber.

The IP-Services Charging Node consists of the Cisco CSG, a specialized card designed for the Cisco 7600 Series high-capacity router, and the Teligent Real-Time Charging Gateway, an application handling real-time rating and charging for events as well as the integration to any legacy prepaid billing and customer relationship management systems.
