If these sites don’t completely answer your questions, contact the Technology Developer Program Help Desk

You can expect a review of your application to be completed within 45 days. If accepted, you will be:

• Assigned a Cisco Partner Manager to be your primary contact for the program
• Notified by e-mail that Cisco has accepted your application
• Sent by e-mail a link to the Cisco Technology Developer Program Agreement to accept online if your company does not already have a valid Program Agreement

Partner Manager

Your Cisco Partner Manager will assist you with the membership process, especially interoperability testing requirements.

Primary Program Contact

Every Cisco Technology Developer Program application requires a Primary Program Contact, whose responsibilities include the following:

• Review all Cisco Technology Developer Program Website content
• Maintain and update all application product content, especially contact information
• Verify that each application contact is a registered Cisco.com user and that the e-mail address listed in each Cisco.com user profile matches the email address listed for that person in the application
• Reassign the Primary Program Contact role prior to a new job or role reassignment
• Ensure that testing is completed within 6 months of application acceptance
• Submit the company and product profile for Cisco.com when testing is successfully completed
• Remove applications that are no longer relevant

Company Contact

Each program member also has a Company Contact, whose responsibilities include the following:

• Review all Cisco Technology Developer Program Website content
• Ensure that all program Agreements obtain required signatures
• Maintain and update company content in the online application
• Reassign the Company Contact role prior to job or role reassignment
• Act as the point person for all communications about the Cisco Technology Developer Program

Step 2: Complete Program Agreement

After receiving a formal invitation to join the program, you must complete the Program Agreement. For help with this step, read the Completing Cisco Technology Developer Program Contracts document.

Step 3: Complete Interoperability Testing

Companies applying for membership in the program must complete the required interoperability testing based on their solution requirements. Members must review the testing guidelines for interoperability testing requirements. Cisco uses multiple lab and third-party test methodologies to provide flexibility to Program Members and retain testing integrity.

Subscribe to the Developer Services Program if it is available for the solution set in which you participate. Members who currently participate in the IP Communications solution set are required to subscribe. Contact the Help Desk or your Cisco Partner Manager if you have any questions or need additional information.

Technology Developer Partners and Affiliates are eligible for the Discount Purchase Program, which provides discounted Cisco products for use in compatibility testing.

Related Program Fees - These fees are related to interoperability testing and co-marketing offered through the program.

Step 4: Co-market (For Partners Only)

After completing steps 1 through 3 and achieving Developer Partner status, you may submit your company and product profiles for posting on Cisco.com and participate in co-marketing activities and events, which will help you benefit from the Cisco brand and customer reach, and gain exposure and credibility as a Developer Partner.
