What Is Customer Satisfaction Excellence?


Customer satisfaction is a cornerstone of the Cisco Channel Partner Program. Cisco uses the same enhanced survey tools that it uses to measure its own customer satisfaction to measure the customer satisfaction levels achieved by its Gold, Silver, and Premier Certified partners. Partners that achieve outstanding customer satisfaction are awarded the Customer Satisfaction Excellence gold star. You can search for these partners using the Advanced Search menu in Partner Locator.

Customer Satisfaction Requirements for Gold, Silver, and Premier Certification

  • Achieve a minimum number of responses:
    • 30 responses for Gold and Silver
    • 20 responses for Premier
  • Meet or exceed the Cisco Customer Satisfaction Excellence target for the region, based on last year’s customer satisfaction performance. Customer satisfaction scores are weighted averages of a partner's pre- and post-sales support and are based on a scale of 1-5 with 5 representing the highest customer satisfaction score achievable.

Qualification Time Frame

Qualification for Cisco Customer Satisfaction Excellence is determined on a rolling 12-month basis at the beginning of each Cisco fiscal quarter (August, November, February, and May).
