Announcing Retirement of Security VPN/Firewall Express Specialization

The Cisco Security VPN/Firewall Express Specialization will retire on 1 February 2009. The last day to submit an application for the specialization will be 1 February 2008. Learn More

To achieve a Cisco Security VPN/Firewall Express Specialization, Cisco requires partners to fulfill each defined job role: Account Manager and SMB Systems Engineer. The Systems Engineer role may be filled by up to two engineers if necessary.

The Security VPN/Firewall Express Specialization uses training already included in the Advanced VPN/Security Specialization. This makes having both Specializations redundant. Therefore, partners can choose one or the other program, but cannot have both Specializations.

Because technology continues to evolve, Cisco specialization requirements are subject to change. Please refer to this site often to ensure that you meet all current program requirements before you submit your specialization application.
