Methodology and Goal
Companies that participate in managed service enablement programs from 10 managed service vendors were surveyed and asked to rate 16 aspects of the programs in these areas:

Upon joining the program
Upon adding a new Cisco Powered service designation
Other milestones or events associated with your Cisco Powered designated service

The survey compared the effectiveness of the ooverall program and each of these elements.The following vendors were ranked: Cisco, Nortel, Ericsson, Brocade, Juniper, Huawei, Siemens, Extreme Networks, Avaya and Alcatel-Lucent.

Conclusion
The study shows that managed service enablement programs have positive benefits for partners and that the Cisco program meets service providers’ expectations.

Although all the vendors surveyed provide resources and interactive business tools to assist service providers, the Cisco program more closely meets their requirements. The program proves the most comprehensive resources to help develop strategic direction and deploy successful services..
