Cisco Authorized Unified MeetingPlace Program Requirements

To attain Cisco Authorized Unified MeetingPlace Program status, partners must undergo the required training program and pass its mandatory exams.
The Cisco Authorized Unified MeetingPlace Partner classification is available to partners in the following defined job roles:

  1. Account Manager
  2. Systems Engineer
  3. Field Engineer

Program requirements are as follows:

Account Manager (AM): Cisco MeetingPlace Sales Specialist

Responsible for Unified MeetingPlace sales methodology and customer engagement

Systems Engineer (SE): Cisco MeetingPlace Design Specialist

Presales engineer; responsible for Unified MeetingPlace solution planning and design

Post-sales engineer; responsible for Unified MeetingPlace solution implementation and operation.

Lab equipment is recommended for the Authorized Unified MeetingPlace Program. Cisco recommends the purchase of call-control-based conferencing and the Cisco conferencing and collaboration lab configuration for internal training and proof-of-concept demonstrations. To provide flexible options in fulfilling the Authorized Unified MeetingPlace Program lab recommendation, a variety of options are available.
