Requirements

The lab equipment is used for ATP-Physical Security (PS) solution sales demonstrations, support, training, customer proof-of-concept, and other similar internal activities (eg. duplicating customer problem). ATP Partners may purchase or lease this equipment directly from Cisco at an ATP Partner discount as set forth in the ATP Partner's direct or indirect Reseller Agreement; Cisco may occasionally offer other pricing.

The PS ATP lab provides the benefits of virtualization and consolidation using cisco UCS virtualized computing platforms. The PS ATP partner can use an existing UCS B or C-series server that meet minimum requirements or purchase a new UCS server from cisco. Both VSM and CPAM software can be installed and used simultaneously with this option. ATP partner must enter the UCS serial number in the CS App tool during the application process for verification. The switch Infrastructure, Viewing Station, Cisco Video Surveillance Software and Licensed features, Cisco SD IP camera, Cisco HD IP Camera, and Cisco Physical Access Gateway Modules are still required. Third party server hardware is not allowed

Advanced Services:

The Cisco Advanced Services team has created two SOW based services. for the partner account teams and the customers who are planning to design and deploy the Cisco Physical security platforms. It is highly recommended ( not required) that partners use the following services:

  • Network Readiness Assessment (NRA): To analyze, inventory, and assess the network and remediate any network design or capacity issues prior to deploying IPVS, CPAM, or IPICS. These services offered via two methods. Both are optional for partners unless explicitly mandated by Cisco Sales or Services Team
    • The Lite version is where the assessment can be done remotely by collecting topographies from the customer and have remote access into the network, and or the cooperation of the customer to collect switch and routing configurations as needed.
    • The Full Version is where NCE's are deployed to Analyze, Inventory, existing and proposed equipment for successful deployments, and integrations. The full is customized to the project.
  • Mentored Install (MI): Mentoring activities are agreed to prior to each engagement, and customized to the needs of the client engagement and to the partner's preferences for participation. This service is also optional for partners and is SOW based unless explicitly mandated by Cisco Sales or Services Team
