Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) programs act as the first-to-market opportunity for partners with specific skills, practices, and capabilities. Because the technologies are new or require special experience, partners can join these programs based on a match to required technology skills.

Partners with the right foundation receive training, lab and demonstration build-outs, and additional Cisco support to promote the best customer experiences.

Partner Profile

In return for your investment in these programs, qualified Cisco ATP partners (those meeting all program requirements) receive access to products, recognition in the Cisco Partner Locator, and early market advantages.

Examples include opportunities to build out your own services practices—technical, managed, and professional—and the ability to combine these technologies with broader architectures to address customer pain points.

Benefits

ATP programs often represent the newest Cisco technologies, which play a significant role in our architectural strategy. All ATP programs are aligned with the architecture that will bring the greatest opportunity for partners and customers.

Cisco architectures are not mutually exclusive; some ATP technologies may span across multiple architectures. The greatest value to the customer occurs by promoting cross-architectural solutions to solve their business issues. Architectures include:

Borderless Networks

Borderless Networks

ATP programs that align with Cisco Borderless Networks include Physical Security (PS), and Identity Services Engine (ISE).

Data Center

Collaboration and Video

Collaboration and Video

As an essential component to the Collaboration architecture, TelePresence Video ATPs provide an opportunity for partners to succeed with many options. They span across four levels: TelePresence Video Express, TelePresence Video Advanced, TelePresence Video Advanced Plus, and TelePresence Video Master. Additionally, TelePresence Video ATPs include multinational and global opportunities.

Beyond video, the collaboration architecture also encompasses Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE), Customer Voice Portal (CVP), WebEx SaaS, and the IP Interoperability and Collaboration Systems (IPICS) ATPs.

ATP Scalability (Host and Satellite Options)

Most ATPs are administered at a country level. To make it easier to serve customers globally, ATPs have two scaling models: host and satellite. Visit each program's webpage to determine whether host or satellite options apply.

Host ATP Partner

A host ATP Partner must meet all training, lab, and business requirements to be authorized to sell ATP products and be recognized on the partner locator. Partners who invest in host locations can provide technical and professional services to your customers, spanning the full sales lifecycle.

Satellite ATP Partner

The ATP Satellite Program allows partners that have made full investments new opportunities to use your existing sales offices in additional countries within a Cisco theater. The satellite country qualifies for ATP certification with reduced requirements focused on sales abilities. It uses the full investment of the host partner for all installation and post-sales functions.

Cisco recognizes satellite ATP partners on the Partner Locator in each satellite country.
