The Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) Program is an invitation-only program. The Cisco Customer Voice Portal (CVP) ATP program provides customers with cost-effective, personalized voice self-service applications, and transparent transfer of information from voice self-service to agent-assisted service and is available only to partners who also participate in the Unified Contact Center for Enterprise (UCCE) ATP program.

ATP Requirements:

The CVP ATP program has established four roles. Role sharing is not allowed. The individuals who fill the roles may be existing employees of the ATP Partner. Cisco does not require that the ATP Partner hire additional employees to fill these roles:

  • Account Manager (AM)
  • Systems Engineer (SE)
  • Deployment Engineer (DE)
  • Project Manager (PM)

The personnel requirements identified in the following sections are minimum requirements to qualify for the CVP ATP program. ATP Partners should ensure that they have additional trained personnel as needed to support all customer engagements and their overall market opportunity. In addition to performing the indicated roles, these individuals are the first line of internal support.

Following is a summary of training format, cost, and duration specifically for each role, as well as additional general training requirements. All costs and duration are approximate and may vary by region.

Account Manager

The AM will handle the account management and pre-sales tasks necessary to recognize opportunities and to sell the products. Responsible for providing monthly forecasts to their Cisco Account Manager, attending monthly meetings with Cisco Channel Account Management staff, articulating to customers the Cisco ATP-Customer Voice Portal Program architecture, demonstrate CCBU applications, prepare technical responses to RFPs, and provide sales support for installed customers.

System Engineer

The SE assists customers with planning, designing, configuring, implementing, and integrating the systems required to support Cisco CVP solutions. The SE is a key member of the account team and is responsible for ensuring the highest level of technical account management.

Deployment Engineer

The DE performs server platform hardware and operating system integration to Cisco product requirements and customer expectations. MCSE/MCSA skills. Responsible for developing the detailed Contact Center technical design, network interconnects platform requirements, configurations and custom engineering definition.

Project Manager

The deployment PM is the single point of contact for the customer and will manage the deployment of the system, starting from the sales handoff through the deployment and support/maintenance handoff of the system.

Requirements

The lab equipment is to be used by the CVP ATP partner solely for support, training, customer proof-of-concept, and other similar internal activities. Partners may purchase or lease this equipment direct from Cisco at the partner's discount set forth in the partner's direct or indirect Reseller Agreement with Cisco or at other pricing as may be offered by Cisco from time to time.

The CVP ATP program governs the accessibility of the following Cisco CVP products. These products are available only to qualified ATP Partners. These products are referred to collectively in this document as the Cisco CVP products.

New partners can prospect leads and develop quotes for Cisco CVP products and solutions during the qualification period. However, they cannot purchase these products and begin deployments until they have successfully met the defined requirements for this ATP program.
