Physical Access Control

The goal of the Cisco Physical Access ATP Program is to provide a comprehensive solution that:

  • Uses the IP network as a platform for integrated security operations
  • Provides a modular and scalable platform to connect readers, inputs, and outputs to the Physical Access Gateway and the CPAM software

The program identifies, qualifies, trains, and enables a select set of Cisco channel partners to provide solution services for the Cisco Physical Access Control products.

Program Participation
The ATP Program is an invitation-only program. To participate in the ATP Program, you must already possess relevant job, industry, and market credentials in the ATP technology.

Before engaging with potential ATP partners, a Cisco sponsor or channel account manager (CAM) must proceed to the ATP Instruction Page for nomination, approval, and partner invitation instructions. You should take the following steps:

  1. Read the requirements for participation in the ATP Program.
  2. If identified as a participating partner or provider, complete the Cisco ATP application and review it with your CAM. If you meet all criteria, your CAM working with the ATP Theater Lead will submit a request for invitation to the Worldwide ATP Program contact. Note: filling out an application does not guarantee an invitation.
  3. Once invited, visit the Certification and Specialization Application (CSApp)/Invitation Tool to complete the Program Requirements Checklist (PRC) online. The Word version file can be downloaded and used to track completion of program requirements.

Partner Profile
A successful Access Control ATP partner is an existing reseller and systems integrator with experience in designing, reselling, installing, and maintaining a full range of video surveillance and access control solutions. For example, each candidate needs to possess services and capabilities associated with Physical Security site surveys, device selection, device location, system configuration, systems integration, and complex system designs, installations, and user support. The ideal candidate would also be an existing Cisco channel partner holding the Express Foundation Specialization.

Restricted Products
New partners can prospect leads and develop quotes for Cisco Physical Access Control products and solutions during the qualification period. But they cannot purchase these products and begin deployments until they have successfully met the defined requirements for this ATP.

The Physical Access Control Satellite ATP Program enables partners to use their Host ATP investment to market and sell Cisco Physical Access Control products and services in additional countries within a Cisco theater. Program participants are recognized on the Partner Locator as Access Control Satellite ATP partners in those additional countries.
